Parents, with your toddler(s) please join us as we move, play and learn on our weekly term time, magical and engaging Yoga Classes at the airy and light Shaftesbury Hall.
Your experienced teacher Alisa Gerrard is passionate about the benefits of yoga & mindfulness practice as early as possible. Her classes help children to learn about their ‘monkey minds’ and start to instil an understanding of activities and exercises to improve and maintain their wellbeing through the challenges of childhood.
These classes are fun and interactive, for both the toddler and the parent, with yoga shapes, games, sounds, music and movement to help with the toddler’s development.
The curriculum is designed to help parents bond with their pre-schoolers as well as motivating them to be active, build confidence, and manage the spectrum of emotions that they experience in their day‐to-day activities.

Alisa, who is a mother of three children has been practicing yoga since her visit to India in her early twenties where she first began to understand how beneficial stretching, meditating and listening to ones body can be.
She attended Yogabirth classes during her three pregnancies and felt inspired to complete the training so that she could help other women experience the calm and informed births she feels blessed to have had.
She also teaches kids yoga and mindfulness in schools and nurseries. She firmly believes that beginning yoga & meditation practice early in life is a wonderful gift for children equipping them with tools to support them to cope with the stresses of life. And most importantly, the kids have fun at the same time!
